This is great, but it appears an audio effect in Logic. Shouldn't it be a MIDI effect?

I came here to make the same point. There's no need to get the plugin to output via IAC drivers. If they changed the plugin type code so that it registered as an AU MIDI FX plugin it would make life easier in most cases, I would have thought.
