I decided to return to my lo-fi ambient work and i needed colored but still good quality reverb (also delay), my favorite reverb Blackhole is not very good for the particular sound i am looking, kind of noisy, saturated lo-fi vhs sound
so i decided to experiment with Surreal Machines Diffuse because it is a delay and reverb hybrid emulating early units from the 80s, it felt right at home with Phonec 2 and SketchCassette tape emulator, i am pumping the feedback real high so the chords can flow into each other and i have to say for the price it is amazing unit, it can be clean and smooth or act like vintage echo and colored, it is a workhorse right now for me and this is kind of surprising because there is not a lot of talk for Surreal Machines in this forum but they are high quality and not very expensive, Diffuse is 49 bucks
ok time for sleepy
