Hey folks! I'm a solo developer who's just released a plugin called Memorandum. You know how lots of folks use their smartphones to record quick demos or musical ideas? Sometimes I think my recordings into my phone have a really interesting character and I wanted to make a plugin with that vibe, but more tweak-able.
Some of the features:
Grit: Add grime, distortion, and compression to your sound.
Blend: Mix distorted and compressed outputs with dry for parallel processing.
Pocket Lint: Tailor high end response, as if the mic was jammed up with lint.
Headphone / Speaker Mode: Simulate playback from phone speaker or headphone jack.
Character: Reduce or emphasize frequency response imperfections.
Yeah, it's kinda goofy! But I think it's fun and have found it useful for tracks that just need a little something extra.
