Re: Inner Pitch 2.0 - also Released

Ok, i had a go. => on Piano only !
I´m used to use Pitch shifters on Piano. And i´d say, Piano is quite a picky one on such FX.
If it sounds good with Piano should it do with many more Signals as well.

my pros:
- Downshift sounds great !...on the full 24 semitone Range. Well donne !
- +- 24 semitone Range. Nice
- Nice Big dial. That was very helpful vs. jam uses. ( i´m not used to have such a big dial. Great)
- only 18.7 ms latency for such a nice downshift. That´s Great !

my less fav ones:
- i personally can use the upshift for only 5 semitones with the Piano. Maybe 7
With signals with less high freq content is it better. Some improvement to make it work up to 12 semitones upshift would be welcome. I personally don´t need more upshift.
To notes: the specific glitch, respectivly the specific degradiation of the sound might be even useful and funny in some cases. As is with any of these tools.
I personally don´t use upshift much. Usually only for brief moments while jaming.
And my other P-Shifters also don´t sound to good on upshifts. Seems tricky.

- The Formant shift is when used with Piano not comparable with the leading pitch shifters vs. creative jam purposes. Not that it would sound anything bad or so. It´s just not opening same doors. Not tested with any vocals. only piano. I do not PS vocals. That´s a sacrilege, hehe. Don´t do that !! :hihi:

For sayed 19.- intro price, a steal ! HAD to snag it. Thanks !....very useful for me.

Very fair deal. So i write some more, since i was triggered. Call it enthusiasm:

too long, don´t read.......:
I checked vs. Trax Flux and Zynaptic Pitchshift pro within same patch.
Downshift is very good ! maybe even leading vs. my uses. Different than Flux vs. Piano.
PS pro has only 12 semitones.
Again, they all sound different. To say something "is best" is not the right thing to do.
But if i had to rate one best vs. downshift, could it be this one, or then Trax Flux. But not PSpro for me.

CPU usage is in Standard mode similar to Flux and PSpro. Maybe slightly higher. In Max mode is it significantly higher. I can hear a difference on Piano vs. both modes. It´s not dramatic. Sounds still very good in standard mode. Soft mode has here nearly the same CPU usage. slightly less. not worth it to use that in my case. So, vs. CPU load, on par with the other 2 ones....or then, way higher. You chose.

Considering the very nice downshift sound, and that with that low a latency, for THAT intro price ? GREAT Value ! Thumbs up !

Not tested with other signals. Not tested with drums.
Spent quite a bit of time right now doing some jam-comparisons with all these 3 P-Shifters.
To notes: many parameters were CC mapped to HW controls.
I jamed ....with a HW haptics feel ! NO mouse juggling.
Also: all plugins had the bypass switch CC mapped to HW controls too.
Who thinks HW has better haptics than SW .......should do such a test with HW
The Eventide pitchfactor might be $500 or so ( i had one for longer)
Ohh, not tested vs. SW eventide pitchshifters. I never use those....so, that´s where it came from.

The jam, was clean Piano, or Piano FFT pitch shifted bevore of these Regular Pitch Shifters.
I´ve not used the Delay. I had some short tests with the Spectral EQ thing. It can make the upshift a slight bit better

That´s a great addition to the basket for Pitchshift afficionados. ;)
Such high quality tools for 20 bucks ?....now, thats the SW-world !
that made my day.
